JOLIET - The Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce will hold is second annual Career Fair on Tuesday, Aug. 15.
"The goal of the Career Fair is to highlight the number of quality jobs available in the Joliet Region," said Chamber President Mary Jaworski in a press release.
Over 40 organizations are scheduled to participate. The event is for individuals looking for a new career, their first job or for re-entry into the workforce. Also, resume assistance, interview tips, and on-site interviews will be available.
State Sen. Pat McGuire, D-Crest Hill, and State Rep. Larry Walsh Jr., D-Joliet, are the new co-presenters of the event.
The fair will be held at 15 S. Richards St. in Joliet at the Jacob Henry Victorian Ballroom from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
