Chicagoland Speedway announced Tuesday that it will add a carnival to its NASCAR Festival Weekend this summer.
The festival will be part of the NASCAR races that run June 27 to 30.
The carnival will be set up in Champions Park, the area outside the racetrack that includes racing vendors and interactive displays. The carnival will run Friday through Sunday and feature an assortment of rides, including bumper cars, a Tilt-A-Whirl and a Ferris wheel.
“This is the first of many exciting announcements which will significantly enhance the guest experience for our NASCAR Festival Weekend,” Chicagoland Speedway President Scott Paddock said in a news release announcing the carnival.
Fantasy Amusements will run the carnival. Chicagoland Speedway has begun selling unlimited, single-day wristbands for $20 for the carnival.
