Route 113 will be closed at the BNSF railroad crossing in Coal City starting Feb. 4, the Illinois Department of Transportation announced Thursday.
The route will be closed, weather permitting, for repairs until the scheduled completion on Feb. 10.
A detour will be posted.
Motorists going east on Route 113 will be directed south on Route 47 and north on Interstate 55 to reconnect with Route 113. Motorists going west will be directed south on I-55 and north on Route 47 to reconnect with Route 113.
IDOT advises motorists to expect delays.
