The Joliet Regional Chamber of Commerce Spring Expo and Career Fair runs Friday and Saturday at Louis Joliet Mall.
Employers seeking workers will join local businesses and nonprofits that present information about their operations during the two-day event.
The Chamber in recent years combined the career fair and expo, providing space for prospective employees to meet employers.
“We do have a little area for resume writing if they need it, and we have an area set aside for interviews,” Chamber President Mary Jaworski said. “We have a lot of companies coming out.”
The expo runs 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. both days, the career fair 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
An event stage will be set up outside the former Carson’s store where performers will provide occasional entertainment throughout the expo.
