The Valley View School District 365U Board approved the hiring of a new assistant director of student services at Romeoville High School.

Megan DuBois will fill the position. She was previously the district’s specialized instruction and resources coordinator, according to a news release.

DuBois began her teaching career in 2013 at King Elementary School in West Harvey-Dixmoor School District 147. She joined the district for the 2013-14 school year, when she accepted a special education teaching position at Romeoville High School.

In August 2017, she began serving as the specialized instruction and resources coordinator.

DuBois earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Illinois State University in 2012 and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Lewis University in 2018.
