On Tuesday, just in time for the Fourth of July, I'll be reviewing "Guarding City, State and National Gates Through Prayer" by Ora Holloway in the LocalLit newsletter.
Holloway is the founder of the Joliet-based Igniting the Prayer Ministries and believes in "building strong churches of prayer and communities," according to Igniting the Prayer Ministries website at ignitingthefireprayer.com.
Here is the book's Amazon description: "This wake-up call to take charge--the church, the ecclesia, the called-out ones--are ordered from the courts of Heaven, to take the limits off and move in the supernatural as God desires to change the spiritual climate and heal our cities, regions, and nations through prayer, intercession, decrees, declarations, consecration, and fasting as we travel the world on our knees."
Each week LocalLit will deliver an original short and family-friendly story by a local author – or a review of a book written by a local author – to the newsletter's subscribers.
Authors with a connection to our readership area may submit. Submission does not guarantee acceptance.
To submit a story or book for review, contact Denise M. Baran-Unland at 815-280-4122 or email@example.com. To sign up for the newsletter, and read the review of "Fifteen Years," visit theherald-news.com/newsletter/locallit/#//.
