The Lewis Innovation Hub, a regional business incubator housed at Lewis University, is accepting applicants.
The innovation hub encourages entrepreneurs looking to accelerate business ideas to apply, according to a news release. The program provides services over a two-year period to help entrepreneurs achieve their goals. Three phases are offered and each has tailored resources and advisors to assist in moving the business ahead.
“This Innovation Hub is a fantastic program that will help fulfill the dreams of so many entrepreneurs,” Romeoville Mayor John Noak said in the release. “This is an example of partnering education and business, a goal that the members of the enterprise zone are actively pursuing.”
The entrepreneurs will also receive guidance from mentors in the business industry and learn how to operate successfully. The program is made possible through a partnership between the university and the Des Plaines River Valley Enterprise Zone.
