Herron: What did you like about your team’s performance last week?
Tonarelli: It was a really big game for us. Coming into the week we started off aggressive in practice, and it really carried out through the week and into the game.
Herron: What do you like the most about your team?
Tonarelli: The team chemistry is amazing, and we have many strong bonds between teammates, and that is in part due to our new coach, coach [Brad] Kunz, and his motivation.
Herron: What do you like the most about competing for Plainfield East?
Tonarelli: Plainfield East is the best. That’s all that I have to say.
Herron: What do you like the most about football?
Tonarelli: It’s my favorite sport. It’s really competitive, and it makes you work to have results, and I like that.
Herron: Who’s influenced you the most in sports?
Tonarelli: My parents, Jill and Darren, tell me to never quit and are at every game cheering me on, and that motivates me to do my best.
Herron: What’s your favorite TV show and movie?
Tonarelli: “Stranger Things” and “Friday Night Lights,” because of football.
Herron: What do you like to do in your free time?
Tonarelli: Play guitar and play video games and work on football with my brother, Evan.
Herron: What type of music do you like, and who’s your favorite band?
Tonarelli: Metal really pumps me up. And Metallica.
Herron: Who’s your favorite sports team and athlete?
Tonarelli: The Bears and Julio Jones.
Herron: What do you want to do in the future?
Tonarelli: My ultimate goal is being a firefighter.
Herron: What’s your favorite place that you’ve visited, and where would you like to visit?
Tonarelli: Colorado. I’d like to visit Australia.
Herron: What’s your favorite food and place to eat?
Tonarelli: I always have scrambled eggs and toast. Texas Roadhouse.
Herron: Do you have any pets?
Tonarelli: I have a cat, but I really want a dog, but my parents won’t let me have one.
