The village of Romeoville announced last week that for the ninth year in a row, it will provide a rebate for residents on their water bill.
The credit will appear on January residential water and sewer bills, according to a news release from the village. Over the past nine years of rebates, a combined $1.3 million has been given back to the community, according to the release.
“We’re pleased to be able to continue offering this rebate,” Mayor John Noak said in the release.
The program applies to single-family housing located within the village limits and excludes second meters, such as irrigation meters and sewer-only accounts.
