The students of St. Mary Immaculate School in Plainfield had a WILD day during Catholic Schools Week.

On Jan. 28, they welcomed Jim Nesci from Cold Blooded Creatures for an assembly.

The students heard a reptile presentation while he brought out his creatures. They learned the role of reptiles and why they are on the planet.

\Nesci showed them the proper way to handle the animals with the attention to detail that assures a positive learning environment. The students were given a hands-on experience to this one of a kind assembly.

Some of the faculty even got into the spirit as they all worked together to hold the Burmese python named Julius Squeezer!
