Supporting veterans has become a passion for Kevin Molloy, owner of Kevin Molloy State Farm in New Lenox.

He founded the free veterans breakfast, hosted the second Monday of the month in Manhattan.

This year, Molloy also contributed to the National Wreaths Across America Day in conjunction with the New Lenox chapter. This is a movement to cover all veterans’ grave markers with a Christmas wreath.

Molloy and his team were recognized with a plaque for their donation to the New Lenox Wreaths Across America by Skip Minger, New Lenox Fire foundation member, and Tammy Levey.

The New Lenox Wreaths Across America program raised about $25,000 to provide 1,885 wreaths for the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.

The next free veterans breakfast is from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Monday at The Roadhouse Restaurant and Pub, 525 S. State St., Manhattan.

The breakfast is sponsored by Kevin Molloy State Farm Agency and Eddie Kural of The Roadhouse Restaurant and Pub. This breakfast is free and open to all veterans.

The February breakfast marks the 12th free breakfast hosted by Molloy and Kural.

The guest speaker will be Joe Werner from the Veterans Garage and Eric from Will County Veteran’s Services.
