The Will County Clerk's Office announced every household with at least one registered voter will receive a voter information guide starting next week.
The redesigned guide will provide information about the upcoming March primary election, according to a news release.
The clerk's office said the information will enable voters to research specific candidates and referenda before they cast their votes.
“The Voter Information Guide contains a great deal of information that will enable voters to research candidates and issues that appear on their specific ballots,” Clerk Lauren Staley Ferry said in the release. “These are tailor-made guides that outline all of their voting options. Voters may bring the guides into the polling booths to assist them if they choose to cast their ballots on Election Day.”
The guide will also include a sample ballot, information on how to request a mail-in ballot, polling locations for Election Day and the hours of operation for nearby early voting sites.
Voters can also visit thewillcountyclerk.com to view a sample ballot, request a mail-in ballot, find early voting locations and other election-related information.
The Illinois primary election is March 17.
