The University of St. Francis in Joliet will hold an open house March 18 for students wishing to transfer in or attend its graduate school.
The open house will be held in San Damiano Hall, located in the USF Welcome Center at 520 Plainfield Road in Joliet, from 5 to 7 p.m., according to a news release.
The university welcomes community college students wishing to transfer, those coming from military service, adults wanting to complete their degree and those wanting to attain a doctorate, among others.
The university offers a variety of on-campus and online degree options, including undergraduate, graduate and doctoral and certification programs in the arts and sciences, business, education, nursing and social work.
"This is an evening event for people who are looking for a way to earn their next promotion, step up to the next opportunity, or even ‘fire-proof’ themselves against the next economic downturn," Eric Wignall, USF's vice president of admissions, enrollment services and marketing, said in the release.
Attendees will be able to speak to faculty, admissions counselors, financial aid representatives and academic staff, and take a tour of the campus.
"We offer a variety of options, depending on where you might be in your life and career," Wignall said in the release.
Those interested can register for the free event at stfrancis.edu/openhouse.
