The “Celebration of Giving Telethon” will celebrate its 25th anniversary from noon to 8 p.m. April 4 at the Jacob Henry Mansion’s Victorian Ballroom in Joliet.
Easterseals Joliet Region will mark this milestone by honoring the families, staff and supporters who made it possible.
It will highlight success stories, showcase clients and feature local talent. It also will recognize donors and sponsors who have shown support through the years and introduce new Easterseals representatives.
The telethon will broadcast live at joliet.easterseals.com and on local access channels.
Since 1995, the telethon has helped people with disabilities and their families, caregivers, veterans and seniors get the services and support they need to reach their full potential.
Over the years, the telethon has raised over $4 million.
Sponsorship dollars will provide services to children and adults with disabilities that are served annually in Joliet, Kankakee, Morris and surrounding areas.
Volunteers are needed throughout the day to take telephone calls from donors. For information, call 815-730-2052.
