Students are wrapping up e-learning for the school year, with a reality that most of the
“extras” that make up an exciting end of the year will not take place in the same way
they traditionally have. So what does that mean for extra-curricular activities?

Your Performing Arts Center (YPAC) in Plainfield, which offers dance, music, theater and tumbling lessons weekly, was facing the same reality as many non-essential businesses have across Illinois.

Right now, YPAC is staying true to their mission to give every child access to the arts by
creating a virtual arts center that gives their students a sense of confidence, connection,
and community.

This means YPAC is running over 150 classes weekly online, producing virtual music concerts live with a musical performing group called Gig Out and Grow and bringing in master teachers from Broadway.

YPAC will be taking new registrations beginning in June for summer.
