Romeoville to hold parade to honor essential workers

The staging ground for the parade will be at White Oak Library. Things will kick off at 1:00 p.m. and follow the route indicated on the map below, ending at Boucher Prairie Park.

The village of Romeoville will hold an essential workers parade on Saturday.

The staging ground will be at White Oak Library, 201 Normantown Road. Things will kick off at 1 p.m. and follow the route indicated on the map above, ending at Boucher Prairie Park.

Spectators will see representatives from most village departments, as well as CITGO, Lockport Fire Protection and other agencies.

The village asks that those watching the parade social distance to keep this a fun and safe event. Additionally, candy and other items will not be thrown from vehicles.
