Bindi is a 3-year, 50-pound, loving shar pei mix doing well in foster care. She shows her joy by her constant tail wagging. She likes being near her foster family and doesn't like long separations. She loves belly rubs and being petted. She likes going for walks and romping in a fenced yard.
She needs some training since she is easily distracted by birds, rabbits and small dogs, and she may ignore commands. Bindi knows the commands for "come, sit," "wait" and "potty." Bindi struggles with anxiety, which may stem from fighting for her life in coal mines. Darkness, fireworks and storms are not her friends.
Even though she enjoys an open crate during the day, a closed crate will induce a panic. It is one of the few times she whines. She does well with kids but is dog-selective. To meet her, email email@example.com. Visit hopefultailsanimalrescue.org.
