Donors help put Catholic students on path to serve, better the world

Supporters to the Catholic Education Foundation don’t just help provide scholarships to students in need, they are changing the world through the students they support.

Catholic schools are uniquely poised to cultivate the next generation of moral leaders who are motivated by the pursuit of a higher purpose. Additionally, Catholic schools empower students with the knowledge, self-confidence, and moral compass to become leaders in high school and beyond, changing and bettering their communities and their world one idea, one person and one conversation at a time.

The Catholic Education Foundation helps students by raising the resources necessary to allow children in need to attend elementary and secondary Catholic schools throughout the Diocese of Joliet. And since 1996, the Catholic Education Foundation and its generous donors have been able to award more than $23 million in need-based scholarships to over 19,000 students.

Donors to the Catholic Education Foundation have helped place students on the path to serve and better their world.

“My children have excelled in both academics and faithful service to others due to being part of a Catholic school,” said Lisa, a Catholic school parent. “I am a single parent and have been blessed by the Catholic Education Foundation scholarships afforded to my children throughout their education. It is a gift I am forever grateful for. Thank you.”

You can become a champion of Catholic education. Whether you have ever attended Catholic schools, whether you have children or grandchildren in Catholic schools – whether you are Catholic or not – consider supporting an education steeped in virtue and value. Your gift will change the world.

For donors who want to help support the Catholic Education Foundation’s mission there are a variety of giving options available beyond outright donations. The Foundation works with donors to determine an effective and appropriate plan to match their specific charitable desires.
